Charles Dolan
Charles Dolan, co-owner of Southeastern Family homes, has over 30 years of experience in residential and light commercial construction and is a licensed builder in both Georgia and South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984 with a BA in Economics. Mr. Dolan worked for a builder/developer in Atlanta for 7 years prior to joining Southeastern Development in 1993. He developed and built in Oakbrook, Willow Lake, and River Retreat before starting River Island in 2002. He has dedicated the last 18 years to building strictly here in River Island. Charles is a board member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and President of Pinetucky Gun Club.

Brian and Beth Carter
Husband and wife team, Brian and Beth Carter, have been building in Columbia County since 2001. The couple has always shared a love of fine home craftsmanship. Years ago when they were dating, they would spend hours driving around together attending open houses in Augusta and Atlanta and exploring homes. They had always wanted to build and put their ideas together to create the perfect house, and that dream has now come to life with B.E.C. Custom Homes.
JL Judson Construction
Jonathan and Lynn Judson
Husband and wife team, Jonathan and Lynn Judson, are excited to now be a preferred builder in the River Island Community. J.L. Judson Construction was started in 2006 by Jonathan - and Lynn joined him in 2009 after leaving her career in Catalogue Management after their 2nd child was born.
Jonathan has experience in all phases of construction and grew up with a long history of family framers, carpenters and builders in the CSRA and the coastal area of Georgia. He learned carpentry at an early age and was working on job sites for his dad and uncles at the age of 14. Lynn’s business experience with a focus on design and buying helps to round out the team. They love working hands on with their customers and creating a home that they will cherish for years to come. Jonathan can often be found on jobsites coordinating and working with subcontractors while Lynn works in the office and hand-in-hand with their clients to help make design and finish selections. And don’t be surprised if you see their kids working alongside them. They love visiting the new homes too! They love to help their clients design the details that make each house unique, while working within their budgets

C Vickers Construction is a locally owned general contracting firm and is located in Evans Georgia serving the CSRA. As a fully licensed and insured contracting firm, we welcome the opportunity to contract any sized project and particularly specialize in new home construction, historic restoration, renovations, and development.
Owner Chad Vickers is the owner of C Vickers Construction and has been involved in real estate and construction since 1995. He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and minored in Social and Developmental Psychology in 1992. He worked in the medical field, sold engineering, environmental, and architectural services for the petroleum industry, and was Regional Sales Manager for Fiserve selling internet banking to top 100 banks in the US.
In 2001, he went full-time into real estate and construction by flipping foreclosures in the Augusta market. That led him into building homes in 2005 and developing neighborhoods. He has been involved in hundreds of remodels and new construction projects.
Lacher Construction
Rob Lacher
Lacher Construction, owned and operated by Robert Lacher, has the unique ability to offer great value with great attention to detail. Robert Lacher is a licensed Residential and Commercial Contractor with a Masters in Accounting and a CPA License. Because of Rob's desire for excellence, integrity and complete oversight of each project, he focuses on a few projects at a time in order to give customers the attention their homes deserve.
Robert has won Historic Augusta's prestigious Preservation Award for his work and seeks to build beauty and modern day utility into every home he constructs
Davis Family Homes, LLC
Andy Davis
Davis Family Homes, LLC has been building beautiful, high-quality custom homes in Columbia County for many years. Owner and founder, Andy Davis began his home building career working as an associate to another builder in 2011 and receiving his contractor's license in 2013. Since then, he has built many single-family homes in various neighborhoods in Grovetown and most recently in Jones Creek.
Many of these homes started as spec homes and turned into pre-sale homes before they were completed thus Andy was able to work with the individual client to customize the house to their desire. He also has completed several homes that started as custom-built homes working with the client through all phases of the building process.
During one period of his building, Jones Creek added a section within Willow Lake with 43 new lots. Davis Family Homes built on nine of the lots completing spec homes and custom builds ranging from 2,400 sq. ft. to 4,000 sq. ft.
In addition to this, Andy has completed two personal homes that his family has resided in, the first for 10 years and the second for over four years which is a beautiful home in River Island where he still resides. To date, Davis Family Homes has completed over 30 homes for happy clients and is looking forward to continuing this process further in 2023.
